A little girl sold her toys to help support a charity after she heard it was burgled.
Eight-year-old Jessica Day saw the plight of social hub Dereham Meeting Point in the Times and decided to do something about.
The Dereham St Nicholas Junior School pupil took a box of toys to a car boot sale over Easter and raised £31.10 to help the charity replace raffle prizes taken during a burglary sometime between Friday, March 27, and the morning of Monday, March 30.
Jessica said: 'I did it because I felt sad when I saw in the newspaper that they had been robbed.
'I had so many toys I wanted to get rid of some of them so I decided to do a stall.'
Her mother Amanda Day said: 'It has made me really proud. It is the thought more than anything.
'Once she has her mind set on something that's it so you just have to run with it. It is really nice that she decided to do it.'
Shonette Mooney, who manages Meeting Point, said: 'It was lovely, it was a really nice gesture.
'When she came in she was so shy. She is very little and she had her bag of money she was very sweet.
'We have had a lot of support from the community and we want to thank everyone who has helped us.'
During the burglary damage was done to a number of doors as well as filing cabinets.
A number of bottles of whiskey and other raffle prizes were taken as well as a some cash.
