An investigation into a fire at Seabreeze Holiday Park has found out that it was caused accidently by disposal of smoking material.
The entertainment complex at the park was burnt down as a result of the fire which took place in the early hours of August 5.
Richard Herrell, the lead fire investigator into the incident said: 'The fire in the entertainment complex was accidental.
'The fire was located at the back of the complex and started outside the premises.
'The cause has been attributed to careless disposal of smoking materials in a plastic planter attached to the external wooded structure.'
The Seabreeze is a private members caravan park with 200 pitches in an area of holiday parks and amusements.
Fire crews from Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Hemsby were called to the park on Newport Road, at around 4am on August 5.
They used hose reel jets supplied by hydrants to tackle the blaze and then an investigation was carried out by police and the fire service.
CCTV tapes from the park were used to help carry out the investigation.
