Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died following a crash with a car near King's Lynn.
Officers were called around 5.40pm yesterday to reports of an accident involving a black Aprilia motorbike and a grey Toyota Avensis travelling towards Lynn along High Road, Saddlebow.
As a result the rider of the motorbike, a man in his 40s, who has not been named, hit a house and died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was uninjured.
The East of England Ambulance Service attended and a spokesman said the man, who had suffered head and chest injuries, died at the scene.
NARS critical care paramedic Carl Smith was also despatched to the scene.
A NARS spokesman said: 'Also on scene were police, an ambulance duty locality officer and ambulance crew. 'Despite Carl applying critical care interventions, and the best efforts of all the personnel, the rider was pronounced dead at 6.15pm.'
Any witnesses or anyone who saw the driving manner of either vehicle prior to the collision should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) at Wymondham on 101.
