A woman has been taken to hospital following a collision at a petrol station in Beccles.

Emergency services were called to the Tesco petrol station off George Westwood Way at around 11am.

Two cars were involved in the incident - a Vauxhall Mokka and a black Vauxhall Corsa - the latter of which collided with the petrol station kiosk.

Police, fire crews and ambulance crews were called to the scene.

A woman in her 50s was taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston with a shoulder injury.

Another woman sustained bruising to her leg, but did not require hospital treatment.

The petrol station has been cordoned off and the vehicles have been recovered.

A Tesco spokesperson said: 'We are assisting the police with their investigations, and will ensure to let customers know when the petrol station is up and running again.'
