An MP has helped launch a new book promoting the importance of mental health awareness.
Christopher Dines has co-written The Kindness Habit: Transforming our Relationship to Addictive Behaviours along with colleague Dr Barbara Mariposa.
Mr Dines, who is based in Loddon, said: 'Addiction and mental illness affect people from all walks of life. We hope that this book can engage people in the conversation and find their truth, and refuge.'
Describing the book as inspiring, South Norfolk MP Richard Bacon said: 'The authors demonstrate how, through the practise of mindfulness and self-kindness, we can improve our mental and emotional wellbeing, and consequently be of greater service to others.'
The official book launch took place in London, Tuesday, February 21, with a second event taking place in Ipswich Tuesday, February 28.
