It's no secret that Norwich has a thriving music scene, with everyone from Taylor Swift to Take That stopping off in the fine city to perform.
Throughout the city's musical history a whole host of famous faces have visited, how many of these great gigs did you attend?
• In 1963, The Beatles played at the Grosvenor Rooms to 1,700 people after being booked by local promoters.
• The following year, the Rolling Stones graced the stage at the Gaumont.
• American singer-songwriter Paul Simon was still struggling to hit the big time when he played at the Jacquard Club (now known as the Mischief Tavern) introducing everyone to the classic, Sound of Silence, in 1965.
• Similarly, Nirvana played to 200 people at Norwich Arts Centre in 1989, just before the release of Smells Like Teen Spirit, the track that catapulted them to fame.
• Finally, 1992 saw legendary rockers Iron Maiden perform at The Oval Rock House in Norwich under the alias of The Nodding Donkeys.
