Historic vehicles took to the roads of South Norfolk for a popular annual steam rally.

Almost 1,700 visitors enjoyed the Bressingham steam rally, which included a road rally from Bressingham to Diss - joined by 11 engines - and the return to steam of two historic locomotives.

The engines made the journey from Bressingham to Diss bus station on Sunday, April 30 evening.

Leaving the museum shortly after 5pm, it took the historic engines roughly 30mins to make the journey to Diss, passing through Roydon en route - much to the interest of other road users.

Phillip Rooke, events curator at Bressingham Steam Museum said: 'The whole weekend went really well.

'We had really good attendance and it was the first time we had properly run the standard gauge engines.
