I enjoy watching MasterChef, but I am puzzled. One evening a contestant had created a superb dish, when a judge (guess who?) suggested an extra touch would make it look more sexy. Wow!
In all my years cooking for family and friends this extra touch has never been recommended by them.
I would like to know how to achieve this, as it is never too old to learn. I hope it is not too complicated, easy to digest and rewarding as it is at times a trifle too hot in my kitchen.
Reflecting, I do remember being called a saucy dish in my younger days and unknowingly the extra touch could have been a daily routine, well ahead of today's game. Meals have always been appreciated, with the occasional hiccup of course.
Food for thought? Or utter nonsense. My conclusion is not to chew over the puzzle for too long and follow the old forager's saying: 'When in doubt leave it out.'
