Football supporters put their best feet forward on one of Britain's highest mountains for two charities.
Members of the Eastern Blues Club, fans of Chelsea Football Club from Norfolk and Suffolk, climbed Mount Snowdon in Wales for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and East Anglia's Children's Hospices' (EACH) nook appeal.
EACH is building a new £10m hospice, called the nook, in Framingham Earl to replace its old Quidenham base. So far £7m has been raised.
About 20 Eastern Blues Club supporters completed the climb, which raised £2,679.64 for both charities.
Adam Robinson, Eastern Blues Club chairman, said: 'The climb was a year in the planning, trying to fit in a date around the fixtures when there was a reasonable chance of some decent weather. Our target was £1,000 per charity and we never imagined we would get anywhere near £5,000.'
Visit www.each.org.uk/the-nook and www.eaaa.org.ukfor more details about both charities.
