An industrial building had to be evacuated following a suspected ammonia leak.
A number of fire crews from across Suffolk were alerted to reports of a 'hazardous materials' incident at an industrial unit at Mobbs Way in Oulton.
Firefighters were called out at 7.48am on Wednesday, July 17 with 11 fire crews initially alerted, but six crews were stood down.
Five crews attended the scene with the incident "isolated" at 8.30am, according to a brigade spokesman.
The spokesman said: "Calls initially came in as a building fire and two appliances were mobilised.
"The caller advised there was ammonia in the room and upon arrival of the initial appliances, watch commander Braim quickly put in an assistance message for full chemical attendance to be mobilised.
"The building was fully evacuated and crews were deployed wearing full gas tight suits, decontamination took place and the incident was dealt with promptly.
"Incident was handed over to onsite management by the fire service."
Fire crews had left the scene by 9.27am.
