Part of the A11 in Norfolk was closed while emergency services tackled a car fire.
A northbound lane at Attleborough was blocked while the situation was dealt with.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service went to the scene at just before 7pm today (Friday, July 19) and Norfolk police tweeted that the force's Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team had gone to the scene.
Firefighters from Attleborough and Wymondham put out the flames while wearing breathing equipment.
The northbound lane was briefly blocked, but has since reopened.
