Areas of Norfolk faced a deluge on Saturday as heavy rain hit the county.
About an inch of rain fell in some places in about an hour and areas around North Walsham, Norwich and Wymondham were the worst affected with roads turned into rivers and vehicles becoming stuck.
Fire crews responded to about 25 incidents between 1.55 and 8pm.
A Norfolk Fire and Rescue service spokesman said yesterday afternoon: 'We are currently dealing with a number of flood related incidents in the mainly around the Norwich and Wymondham areas. Please do not drive through flood water. Contact highways for flooded roads, dial 999 requesting the fire service for flood water that is entering property.'
Breckland Police tweeted: 'There is severe flooding at Norwich Road, Besthorpe. Police on scene. Road is closed so please avoid the area and find an alternative route.'
A white campervan became stuck underneath a flooded stretch of road underneath a railway bridge on the B1150 Norwich Road in North Walsham.
The flash flood left the van's wheels almost completely submerged in the water.
Another area affected was around Pennygate, further south near the Ant Broads and Marshes National Reserve.
Part of a ceiling at Norwich Airport collapsed.
A large tree fell on Catton Grove Road in Norwich. A diversion was put in place while highways workers cleared the road. It was reopened at about 10.30pm.
The Ashmanhaugh and Barton Wanderers' cricket ground in Barton Turf was practically turned into a lake by the heavy rain.
There were also reports of a flash flood on the Hopton by-pass. With the low visibility prompting many drivers to pull over and the heavy surface water making the roads extremely slippy. Norfolk Fire and Rescue warned motorists not to drive through flood water.
The A47 at Corton was closed due to severe flooding and elsewhere on the A47, between Easton and Honingham, the road was also closed. It reopened at about 6.30pm.
Meanwhile, train and bus services were also been affected by the flooding.
