Cromer was one of the few parts of the country to have experienced a 'tropical night' where temperatures stayed above the 20C mark.
The north Norfolk resort town had a minimum temperature of 20.9C overnight on Thursday.
Other places which went through a 'tropical night' were St James Park in central London, which had an overnight minimum of 20.7C, and Wattisham in Suffolk, which saw an overnight minimum of 20.8C.
Norwich got down to a low of 19C overnight.
