This week is dessert week on The Great British Bake Off, but every week is dessert week at these city sweet spots.
If you don't fancy having a go at crafting your own sugary showstoppers then these local dessert bars and cafés are the places to go.

1.Figbar, 23 St John Maddermarket
With a menu designed by an executive pastry chef and a mission to 'amplify your sweet tooth and bring dessert into focus', Figbar is sure to be a favourite of dessert enthusiasts.
Boasting plated desserts (from noon) including sumptuous twists on sticky toffee pudding, chocolate mousse, and meringue, this place is for you if you're looking for dessert with panache.
There are also a range of 'sweet treats', including cookies, brownies and daily specials, available from opening.
Get your sugar fix Tuesday and Wednesdays 10am – 6pm and Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays 10am – 10pm.
2.Mindoro, 1 Westlegate
Art Deco-themed coffee shop and dessert lounge Mindoro opened in Norwich earlier this year.
With a menu offering sweet crepes, fruit waffles, signature sundaes, gelato shakes and cookie dough, it's bound to be a hit with sugar seekers.
Mindoro are open 8am to 8pm everyday except Sunday.

Sundaes Gelato is a chain dessert parlour with venues across the UK including Oxford, Leicester, Birmingham and, of course, Norwich.
Though, as the name may suggest, ice cream and sundaes are strong staples of the chain, the menu also lists and extensive range of waffles and crepes – including a tempting Ferrero Rocher crepe.
Opening hours are 11am – 11pm all week.
4.The Waffle House, 39 St Giles Street
This café-restaurant has venues in Norwich and St. Albans. While it also offers savoury waffles, dessert lovers can make the most of the wide range of sweet waffles on offer – including fresh banana, chocolate and honeycomb mousse, and pecan nut and butterscotch sauce.
The Waffle House also offers dessert bowls where you can pick your own flavour combos.
Dig in Monday to Saturday 10am – 10pm and 10am – 9pm Sundays.

Those whose favourite dessert is of the ice cream variety should look no further than Café Gelato.
It claims to be Norwich's first gelato parlour, and serves home-churned Italian style ice cream including flavours from earl grey to salted caramel.
If that's not enough to get your sugar senses tingling then perhaps one of the many sorbet flavours, which in the past have included dark chocolate, pineapple, and pomegranate, will be.
Café Gelato is open everyday except Monday. Opening times are 11am – 6pm Tuesday through to Saturday and 11am – 5pm Sundays.
