A member of Dusmagrik Young People’s Theatre Company won a major award last week.
Isobel Wilson, 13, from Caister had won the award for best youth performer in the region at the Eastern Region National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) Gala Awards held in St Ives.
She won the award for her performance in the title role of Annie, which Dusmagrik presented at Gorleston’s Pavilion Theatre in November.
Company leader Mary Carter said: “We are especially proud as this is the fourth year in succession someone from Dusmagrik Young People’s Theatre Company has won this particular award.”
Isobel was presented with the award by NODA representative Terry Rymer.
