A person has been airlifted to hospital after a crash between a car and a bike on the A143 this morning.
The A143 in Needham, between Harleston and Diss, is closed to traffic due to a collision in the early hours of Thursday, February 17.
A diversion has been put in place and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
A spokesman from the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 5.37am with reports of a collision on the A143, Needham.
"We sent two ambulances, an ambulance officer and East Anglian Air Ambulance.
"One person was flown to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care."
Norfolk Police tweeted: "The A143 at #Needham is currently closed to traffic in both directions owing to an RTC. Local diversions are in place, please avoid the area where possible."
