APPLETON RITA MAY (nee Harwin) Of Poringland, passed away peacefully at home on September 18th, 2024, aged 88 years with her family around her. "Words can not express the sadness of which I am feeling, my only comfort is that I do truly believe that my beloved wife is in a better place, and at rest with the rest of her family" Loving husband Geoffrey. A much loved sister of Joan, dear aunt and great-aunt, rest in peace, miss you so much. A service will take place at Saxlingham Nethergate Churchyard on Tuesday, October 22nd at 11.30 a.m. Donations in memory of Rita are invited for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and may be sent to R B Copping Independent Funeral Service, 125 The Street, Poringland, NR14 7RP. People not wishing to attend the churchyard ceremony are very welcome to join the family for a celebration of life at Saxlingham Village Hall for lovely refreshments from 12 noon.
