HOBDAY JOHN Died peacefully at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on September 27th, 2024, aged 86 years. John will be sadly missed by wife Margaret, children Marion, Stuart and Keith and grandchildren Thomas and Ellen. John, moved to Norfolk in 1974 and will be specially remembered as the Deputy Head of Wymondham High School for many years. He was an active Hethersett resident (playing table tennis and snooker at the social club) and a keen musician being a member of numerous choirs, brass bands and recorder groups. He helped set up the Norwich U3A Singers and was their conductor for several years. The funeral service will be held at Hethersett Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at 1.30 p.m. Floral tributes welcomed.
