BLYTH ANTHONY JOHN RIX Singing with the angels. Tony died peacefully at home on March 27th, aged 88. Adored husband of Pat and a much loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A former employee of Norwich Union, and a Cathedral layclerk for over 50 years. Tony's funeral will be held in Ely Cathedral at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 2nd. No need to wear black.Tributes

Thank you Tony for all the pleasure you gave with your singing in the Triennial Festivals. I have just found a press cutting where you are standing next but one to a dear friend Dr. Gil Wesley. I am now 84years old and really appreciated singing with The UEA choir and the Phil. Such happy times for all of us. Christine Jermey.
