HERRING GWENYTH MARY EVANS Known to all as Gwen, the beloved wife of the late John Alan Herring, passed away peacefully in Firth House Residential Home, Selby on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, aged 100 years. Formerly a native of Attleborough, Norfolk for 92 years, before moving to Selby. She is survived by her two children, David and Rosemary. She will be missed by her wider family and everyone who knew her. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 at York Crematorium. Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu, if desired, to either the Royal British Legion or the Epilepsy Society. All are welcome to join Gwen's family after the service at Firth House, 18 Firth Mews, Selby, YO8 3FZ from 12.30 p.m. for light refreshments.
