In memory of dear cousin 'Aunt' Gillian.
There is so much we can all learn from your resilience, zest for positivity, fun and love for family and friends. You always had a smile and hug and were happy, whatever your circumstances. You never forgot any of us at Christmas and loved to spend them with family, particularly the children. You loved a party and always spoke so fondly and endearingly of family present and past. Our last conversation together you referred to your ( and my mother Janet's) Grandmother Amelia Matilda Jermy and how gentle, kind, wise and peace- loving she was. You also spoke of your great sadness at the recent passing of your cousin, my lovely Aunt Denise Josephine 'my little girl' as you liked to call her. You can party to your heart's content with them all now, including your 'attentive' husband John, your hardworking parents, your 'lovely Aunt Annie', Denise etc.
Rest in joy and peace. We'll miss you greatly. Until we meet again, love from Natasha xxx

In loving memory of cousin Gillian, a wonderful generous and happy person. Remembering especially those past days when we went swimming in her ‘warm’ outside pool and then later fishing in the river at the back of her garden, hoping to catch pike but ending up with minnows!
Much love from Alexander, Zehra, Olivia & Edward.

I was privileged to have Auntie Gillian as a godmother. She lit up the room with her happiness and would give me the best hugs. She always made me feel special and family meant everything to her. She was so sad when we lost our wonderful auntie Denise to cancer earlier this year and spoke on so many occasions of their wonderful holidays together.
Auntie Gillian had strong religious beliefs and that got her through some of the more challenging times. She was looking forward to seeing all our amazing relatives who have passed already and felt there would be a special feast awaiting her when it was her time to pass.
We shared many Christmas celebrations together after Uncle John passed away and I will always remember the huge amounts of fun, laughter and karaokes we shared as a family.
You will always hold a special place in my heart, my gorgeous godmother, until we meet again.
With love always, your god-daughter Addelle (and Andrew, James and Thomas) xx
