DOWNING PETER LESLIE (My Big D) (Herbert) Died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on February 12th aged 71. Beloved partner to Christine (Baby), son, uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle. Well known wheelchair athlete, sportsman, nature lover and friend to so many. A Hempnall boy through and through. Walking and running tall again. His funeral service will be on Monday, March 13th at 2 p.m. at St Margaret's Church Hempnall followed by a family burial and a celebration of his well lived life at Hempnall Village Hall.
