Proposals for a new farm building have been thrown out because it would have a "detrimental" effect on the landscape.
West Norfolk Council has refused planning permission for the 13m x 11m structure on the Old Mushroom Farm at Upwell, near Wisbech.
A planning officer's report said: "Whilst the proposed building would be reflective of an agricultural building when considered in isolation, its impact on the site context is a critical consideration."

It added the siting of the building, in an open field, would create "a scattered development pattern" and have "a detrimental urbanising effect on landscape character and the open nature of the countryside".
A planning statement said it would be used to store machinery to work the land.
The council officer said it would be better sited within a group of nearby existing buildings.
