Norfolk triathlete Kimberley Morrison secured a podium finish at Ironman 70.3 in Jönköping, Sweden.
The 29-year-old, from Bale, near Fakenham, came out just behind Camilla Pedersen after the swimming leg and, although Morrison took the lead on the bike, Pedersen and eventual winner Lisa Huetthaler sat in behind and wouldn't let the Tri Anglia member get away from them.
Morrison looked really strong on the run behind Huetthaler but at the 19km point Pedersen managed to pass her as she settled for third place.
'It's a great confidence booster for me before I go in to training for the World Championships in September,' said Morrison, who has enjoyed an excellent year.
She won the Ironman 70.3 in Texas before finishing second in Buenos Aires.
She also finished a creditable sixth at the high profile Challenge Championship held in Slovenia last month.
