Thick, grey smoke could be seen billowing from a burning car, which meant a city road had to be closed.
Police closed part of Sprowston Road in Norwich after reports of a car ablaze about 10.11am this morning (Saturday, July 8).
One fire crew from Sprowston Fire Station attended, and put out the fire using hose reel jests.
A police spokesman said the fire had been dealt with and the road had been reopened by 11am.
