A radio station is celebrating half a century of music and memories.

Hospital Radio Lynn, the dedicated radio station for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, marked its 50th anniversary on April 17.

It is accessible online and through Alexa, meaning listeners are always a call or click away.

Chairman David Llewellyn said: “Celebrating our 50th anniversary is a monumental achievement for Hospital Radio Lynn and the broader community.

“This milestone highlights the lasting impact of radio in uplifting spirits, entertaining, and bringing people together, especially during challenging times.

To commemorate the anniversary, the station hosted a day of special broadcasts on April 17, with listeners encouraged to call in with song requests.
