A new art gallery in Norwich will open with a bang as it launches with a gun-shot pottery exhibition.
Gray Area Gallery in West End Street is opening on March 1 and will showcase a diverse selection of artworks from under-represented voices in the art world.
The opening exhibition called Wounded, a series produced by ceramicist and gallery director Kenza Gray, includes unique pottery pieces shot by a gun.

Based in Norwich, Miss Gray has exhibited alongside street artists such as Banksy and Damien Hirst.
She said: "I want to create a space that makes the public question, 'What is art?' and 'What narratives do we see in the art world?'.

"I think there is a need for art in Norwich which blurs the lines."
An open call for future exhibition artists will be released following the gallery's opening night on March 1 at 7pm.
