An inquest has opened into the death of a retired bus driver who died in hospital after being found unconscious.

Keith Brock, who lived at Overbury House care home in Wroxham, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital (N&N) on November 29.

The 73-year-old is believed to have been found unconscious while staying at the Julian Hospital, also in Norwich.

Despite treatment at the N&N, he quickly deteriorated and died shortly after being admitted.

An inquest into his death was opened by area coroner Samantha Goward at Norfolk Coroner’s Court on December 8.

Speaking to the court, Ms Goward gave the primary medical cause of death as congestive heart failure.

It was also confirmed that Keith Leslie Brock was born on December 8, 1949, in Norwich.

A review into his death will take place at the court in Norwich next year on March 12, as further reports from his GP and his next-of-kin have been requested.
