A father-of-two who "touched the lives of many people" has died at the age of 56.

Mike Robinson, who worked as a professional photographer and writer, was diagnosed with leukaemia last year.

A native of Norwich, he grew up in Thorpe Hamlet and attended the Hewett School before studying photography.

He began working at Norwich Union, now Aviva, until he accepted redundancy to set up his photography business.

Initially, he photographed weddings but was recently head-hunted to photograph properties.

His other interests, which he shared with his father Bruce, were walking, writing and capturing images of Peddars Way and the coastal footpath.

Together, they co-edited The Guide before Mike took the job on himself. He was also involved with Poppylands Publication's illustrated books of the route.

He was a lifelong supporter of Norwich City Football Club.

His loved ones said he "touched the lives of many people". He leaves behind Jasmine, whom he married in 2007, and their two children aged 12 and 10.
