Drivers on the A143 have faced a second day of delays after a van fire damaged the road.
Emergency services were called to the incident at 3.56pm on Tuesday at the Stockton roundabout which connects the A143 and A146.
A Peugeot van had caught fire causing thick heavy smoke and damage to the road.

Temporary traffic lights are now in place in the area while repair work takes and there are delays for drivers on the A143 and A146.
Roadworks, including surface repair and maintenance, will be carried out until June 3 but may be finished earlier.
Traffic was diverted following the incident and two double-decker buses were involved in a crash on the diversion route at Mundham.
