Fire crews were tackling a large blaze on Sutton Bridge at the Norfolk and Lincolnshire border.
A large fire at the port was causing smoke and a strong smell to cover the village of Sutton Bridge.
People in the village were urged to keep their doors and windows closed by the fire service.

Julie Smart, from Grimston, said: "On my way home from work I came down bridge road which was full of smoke and smelt awful.
"I saw lots of smoke on the docks and there was a huge fire near a scrap heap - the smoke has covered the whole village."
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: "We currently have crews dealing with a large fire in the Sutton Bridge Port area. Nearby residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed."
