An air ambulance was called after a man in his 30s suffered a medical episode inside a vehicle.
Police were called at 12.05pm today (Wednesday, April 5) to Caistor Lane in Poringland.
Emergency services including police and the air ambulance attended and the road was closed.
Despite efforts to save him the man he was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
The road was reopened by 1.17pm.
