Plans to build four new homes near King's Lynn town centre have been put forward.

A developer named in council papers as Mr Ball has applied for planning permission for four one-bed properties on Everard Mews, off North Everard Street in King's Lynn.

A planning statement to West Norfolk council says: "This planning application is being made to provide a new residential development of four one bed units.

"This proposal has had interest from a large housing associations. They have provided a strong indication, at this early stage, of an intention to work with Carvella Investments on this build and take the units on practical completion, therefore reinforcing the idea of this being a sustainable development."

The statement adds the proposed new homes have been designed to match the style of properties around them.

It adds: "The proposal will have little or no negative impact on the surrounding buildings due to the site being contained within an existing external courtyard surrounded by high walls and neighbouring properties, and the benefit of the proposal significantly outweighs any negative impact."
