A 21-year-old drug dealer from Cromer has been put behind bars after a police raid found cocaine and cannabis at his home.
Michael Murphy, of Cabbell Road, Cromer, was arrested by police in August last year after officers stopped a vehicle in which he was a passenger.
Officers searched through text messages on his mobile phone and found messages between him and another person discussing a drug deal.
While he was in custody at Great Yarmouth police station, his home was raided by police, where they found both cocaine and cannabis with a combined street value of more than £2,000.
He was later charged with multiple offences including possession with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a drug.
Murphy appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday, March 2, where he was sentenced to four years in prison.
Investigating officer, PC Aaron Nicholson from the Op Moonshot team, said: “Norfolk Constabulary will continue to work to challenge and disrupt those who choose to involve themselves with the distribution of drugs in Norfolk.”
