People in part of Norfolk can get rid of electrical items, such as old or broken vacuum cleaners, microwaves and hedge trimmers, at a Christmas clear-out recycling event.
Since April, people in Broadland have been able to put out small electrical items for collection at the kerbside.
But that kerbside collection is for small items only, so Broadland District Council and contractors Veolia are holding an event where slightly larger items can be taken to be recycled.
The event will take place at Sprowston Recreation Ground on Wednesday (December 14), with a Veolia crew based there from 9.30am to 1pm.
They will not be able to accept white goods such as washing machines, fridges, dishwashers or TV and computer screens.
Duncan McBurney, contract manager at Veolia UK said: "The kerbside collection service of small electrical items that launched in April has been amazingly successful with over 41 tonnes of items collected over the last eight months.
"However, feedback from the crews has shown that residents are keen to put out electrical items that are too big to be collected alongside the rest of their recycling and waste.
"We hope residents will take this opportunity to dispose of any broken items they would like to see recycled without a trip to the household waste and recycling centre."
