As Norfolk Day approaches, communities are rallying together to celebrate the big day. This week we focus on a new special beer being brewed for the occasion.
A microbrewery is calling for your help to create a limited edition beer for Norfolk Day.
Wildcraft Brewery, on Coltishall Road, Buxton, which uses local foraged ingredients, will produce about 1,000 bottles and cask versions of the new drink.
They will celebrate the inaugural Norfolk Day, on Friday, July 27, and will be sold across 150 pubs and delis.
The special drink will be available from before July 27 until the end of August.
To make the best brew, the rural business is asking Norfolk residents to fill in an online survey about what people want from the new drink.
This includes style, flavour features and strength of the beer as well as name suggestions.
The winner of the name competition will receive 20 pints of the finished beer.
Mike Deal, director and head brewer of Wildcraft Brewery, said: 'We thought about creating a Norfolk Day beer and we decided the people of Norfolk should decide what the beer should be.
'We want to so something for Norfolk Day. The main thing for us is getting Norfolk people involved.'
The survey can be accessed by visiting www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/9YYV7V3 and is running until the middle of May.
Mr Deal, 39, a teacher from The Street in Old Costessey, who started the microbrewery 18 months ago, added: 'A lot of our breweries are very friendly and we want to reflect that. Norfolk has the most breweries, compared with other counties. Our grain goes around the world.'
Wildcraft Brewery uses ingredients including foraged nettles, elderflower, blackberries, raspberries, wild hops and Maris Otter barley.
Norfolk Day is backed by the Eastern Daily Press, Norwich Evening News and BBC Radio Norfolk.
It is being sponsored by Woodforde's Brewery and Richardson's Hemsby Beach Holiday Park and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust has become an official charity partner.
Different communities, businesses and charities across the county are being encouraged to get involved on the day by putting on a variety of special events.

Celebration packs containing all of the above are available for £15.
Norfolk Day takes place on Friday, July 27, and is intended as a day of fun in which individuals, community groups and businesses are encouraged to get involved by hosting or participating in events.
The initiative was launched by the EDP and Norwich Evening News in partnership with BBC Radio Norfolk and has the backing of business and community organisations who are planning events for the day.
Details of events will be revealed in the newspaper, online and via social media.
